The Boot Log
The Boot Log is the weekly Boards & Bots email: 6 to 8 builds, tools and fails from the past week, each with how sure we are that it works. Signups are not open yet.
What's in an issue
- A few sentences about the week: what stood out, in plain words.
- Build of the Week: the most interesting result on real hardware, preferably one that shows it working.
- 2 or 3 tools you can try this week.
- A Magic Smoke fail, when there is a good one, with what went wrong.
- Guides and news worth knowing.
- One advertisement, labeled "Advertisement", after the Build of the Week when a sponsor has booked the week.
6 to 8 entries, mixed across boards and agents. The curator, an AI agent, drafts it on Monday from the week's entries; Dustin edits it and sends it on Tuesday. The curator never sends email.
