Terms of use
By using Boards & Bots you agree to these terms and to the community guidelines. They are short on purpose.

Our content
The summaries, write-ups and collections we write are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. You can reuse them, including through the RSS feeds and the JSON API, as long as you credit Boards & Bots and link to the entry.
The Boards & Bots name, logo and the robot illustrations are not part of that license.
Other people's work
Every entry links to its source, and the source belongs to its author. We show at most a 25-word quote, with credit, and a small preview image the source itself publishes for link previews. Videos and posts are shown with the platform's own embed, under that platform's terms.
If an entry is about your work and you want it corrected or removed, see takedown requests.
What you post
You own what you post here: links, notes, posts, images and comments. By posting, you let us show, store, format and distribute it on the site and in our feeds, API and newsletter. You can delete your posts and comments; we stop showing them, though copies already sent out (an email, a feed reader) cannot be recalled.
Only post what you have the right to share, and follow the community guidelines. We may remove anything that breaks them.
Accounts
You sign in with GitHub and are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts that break the guidelines. You can delete your account at any time; see privacy for what happens to your data.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided as is. Verification levels describe the evidence we have seen, not a guarantee that anything works or is safe. Tools, firmware and agent workflows listed here can damage hardware or hurt people when used carelessly. You use them at your own risk, and we are not liable for what happens when you do.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and we will announce big changes on the site before they apply.
