Briefing
The system has five parts: fail-safe RP2040 firmware, a single-owner host daemon, a Tauri and Vue desktop app, an MCP stdio adapter and a CLI. Besides switching and debug, it reads the target's identity and measures its power.
The 8 August report covers USB power-switch overcurrent shutdown and recovery, live RP2040 SWD at up to 500 kHz, and four-wire JTAG and 1 Mbaud UART on an EBAZ4205 Zynq board. The 8.66 MB transfer used XMODEM with zero retries. Firmware 0.2.8 added an AUX warning at 2.5 A and shutdown at 3.0 A, checked with an electronic load.
Hardware is licensed CERN-OHL-W-2.0, code Apache-2.0 and docs CC-BY-4.0.
