embedagents-stm32: a Claude Code plugin that drives ST's STM32 tools

embedagents-stm32 runs ST's own command-line tools from Claude Code to work on STM32 projects. It drives CubeMX, CubeIDE, CubeProgrammer, the signing tool, the ST-LINK GDB server and the virtual COM port, and bundles none of them. The README's demo GIF shows Claude Code building and flashing a NUCLEO-L476RG from one plain-language request.

Briefing

The plugin hands each tool's output back to Claude, which picks the next step. A stm32-project.jsonc file points it at the board, build, ELF and IOC file, and 5 slash commands call a tool by name. The debugger path reads firmware state during a fix; in the README's crash example, Claude reads the SCB and decodes a HardFault. It does not replace the CubeIDE debugger.

It runs on Linux and Windows, not macOS, and needs Python 3.11 and ST's tools installed from st.com. Hardware tasks need an ST-LINK probe and a NUCLEO or DISCO board. It is an independent project, not an ST release.
