nff: Claude Code bridge for Arduino and ESP32 over USB

nff exposes a USB-connected Arduino or ESP32 board to Claude Code as MCP tools. Claude can write a sketch, compile and flash it, read the serial output and reset the board. The current README lists 34 tools and PlatformIO builds. Remote access to deployed devices through its C library needs a hosted backend that the README says is offline.

Briefing

nff is now a single self-updating Rust binary. nff init detects the board, writes the config and starts the MCP server on 127.0.0.1:3010 over streamable HTTP. Of the 34 tools, 7 cover the bench loop and 14 drive on-chip debugging over JTAG or SWD through OpenOCD and GDB, with breakpoints, call stacks, registers, memory and stepping. Builds go through PlatformIO, with arduino-cli as a second backend.

The bench and debug tools need no account. The OTA, fleet and provisioning commands depend on the hosted backend at app.nanoforgeflow.com, which the README says is offline. The project, by Gauthier Lechevalier, is MIT-licensed, and the README links a demo video we have not watched.
