Digilent WaveForms MCP server for Analog Discovery

dwf-mcp-server exposes Digilent WaveForms devices such as the Analog Discovery 2 and 3 to an agent as MCP tools, built on the dwfpy bindings. Tools cover the oscilloscope, logic analyzer, waveform generator, power supply, GPIO and SPI. It ships as a Docker image without Digilent's proprietary runtime, which users add in a derived image. The README shows no hardware runs.

Briefing

Each analog_capture or digital_capture call can take a single shot, or start a capture, read it across later calls and stop it. The waveform generator can likewise hold an output on between calls, device_state reports which sub-instruments are running, and close_device stops all outputs and ends the session.

The derived image downloads Digilent's Adept 2 Runtime and WaveForms packages, by default versions 2.27.9 and 3.24.4. The container runs with --privileged for USB access, and on a Linux host a udev rule is needed before it can see the devices. The Digital Discovery is supported along with the two Analog Discovery models.
