pico-mcp: an MCP server for PicoScope 5000A USB oscilloscopes

pico-mcp talks to the ps5000a driver directly to control PicoScope 5000A USB oscilloscopes from an agent. It configures channels, runs the built-in signal generator, captures blocks with measurements and sweeps frequency response. The author wrote it because an existing server crashed and leaked device handles. The README says every code path was checked on a 5442B; it shows no captures.

Briefing

Block captures return measurements computed from the full-resolution data, with a waveform downsampled to at most 240 points. The frequency sweep steps the built-in generator across log-spaced frequencies, picks a timebase for each and reports the gain between two channels with the -3 dB band edges. Its first use, per the README, was a 1:1 audio isolation transformer, flat from 17 Hz to 1.4 MHz with a mild resonance at 380 kHz.

The PicoScope desktop app has to be closed first, because only one program can open the scope. On Apple Silicon, PicoScope 7 T&M 7.2.24 ships arm64 libraries, so the old Rosetta setup is gone, but the libraries still need symlinks into ~/lib. The README warns that importing the server succeeds even when no driver loads.
