Briefing
eda-agent runs a polling loop inside Altium's DelphiScript engine, and the Python server sends it commands through file-based IPC at about 10 ms per call. The design stays open, and Altium repaints as the agent edits it. Batch tools fold many edits into one call, and a review snapshot bundles 8 to 12 reads.
The 87-second demo video shows Claude Code drawing a 12 V to 3.3 V, 2 A step-down supply around a TI TPS62130 from one sentence. It fetches the datasheet, sizes the inductor, capacitors and feedback divider, and checks the netlist. That is schematic work; no board is shown.
