hackrf-proxy: a receive-only safety proxy and MCP server for a HackRF One

hackrf-proxy puts a localhost proxy between Claude Code and a HackRF One that validates every parameter, holds an exclusive session lease and serializes access. Its MCP server exposes sweeps, IQ captures, spectrum streams and detected signal events, and no transmit tools. An optional transmit path is off by default and blocks protected bands. The README shows no captures.

Briefing

The proxy was written in Go, served an HTTP API on localhost and kept each client's exclusive lease alive through heartbeats. The repository carried a GPL-3.0 license and was last updated on 5 October 2026.

The repository has since been deleted or made private. Its README is no longer available, so we cannot check these details or the transmit safety model against the source.
