labgrid-mcp: put a labgrid hardware lab behind 47 MCP tools

labgrid-mcp puts a labgrid hardware lab behind 47 MCP tools, from reserving a board to switching its power and reading its serial console. SSH commands and, when enabled, flashing are also covered; flashing and other irreversible actions are off by default. The README's demo GIF shows Claude driving the built-in fake lab, with no hardware attached.

Briefing

labgrid is the open-source framework embedded teams use to share lab boards, called places, with switchable power, serial consoles, USB muxes and flashing tools. labgrid-mcp maps that onto MCP. The README's example request, to acquire a board, flash last night's image and check for a login prompt, becomes a chain of tool calls.

It needs a gRPC-era coordinator (labgrid 24 or newer; tested against 26.x). Every tool carries read-only or destructive annotations, and there are per-category allowlists and a read-only mode. uvx labgrid-mcp demo starts a real coordinator and exporter with one fake board.
