Logic Analyzer AI MCP: Saleae Logic 2 for Claude

Logic Analyzer AI MCP connects Claude and other MCP clients to a Saleae logic analyzer through the Logic 2 automation API. Its 11 tools configure a Logic 8 or Logic Pro, run captures, add protocol decoders and export the data as CSV. Logic 2 must be running with its scripting socket enabled. The README shows no captures.

Briefing

The server talks to Logic 2's scripting socket on port 10430, which has to be enabled in Logic 2's preferences. One-shot tools capture and analyze in a single call: frequency and duty cycle for digital channels, voltage statistics for analog ones. A triggered capture waits for an edge on a chosen channel and records for a set time, and decoders such as Async Serial, I2C and SPI export their decoded tables as CSV.

The listed repository is a fork, created on 15 February 2026, of a project of the same name begun in June 2025. Its two added commits bring the trigger and protocol-decoder tools and a fix for the Logic 8, whose fixed input threshold made the threshold setting fail. The README's install steps still clone the original.
