FTC Toolchain: an MCP server to build, deploy and debug FIRST Tech Challenge robot code

FTC Toolchain gives coding agents 35 MCP tools for building and deploying FIRST Tech Challenge robot code. It searches FTC SDK samples and Pedro Pathing docs, scaffolds OpModes, builds TeamCode with Gradle, deploys to a REV Control Hub and reads robot logs. It installs with npx; the README calls its npm tests a smoke test that needs no robot.

Briefing

A session starts with inspect_project, which reports the selected FTC project, OpModes, documented subsystems, hardware-name collisions and the latest APK. Generators write one class per mechanism with a bench-test OpMode and a Markdown note the agent updates as tuning values change; create_teleop puts the button bindings in their own file. Every generator has a dry run, and an overwrite first backs up the old file outside the repo. Deployment works over USB, or by switching the laptop to the Control Hub's Wi-Fi, installing over adb and switching back.

Pedro Pathing constants start as placeholders and have to be tuned on the robot. The README says the Wi-Fi switching is for development and pits only, and that programming computers must be disconnected before a match.
