Lattice Prompt connects coding agents to the Radiant FPGA toolchain over MCP

Lattice Semiconductor released Lattice Prompt, a free MCP link between agentic IDEs such as Claude Code or Cursor and its Radiant FPGA software. Lattice says an agent can run simulation, synthesis, place and route, timing analysis and bitstream generation from plain-language requests, grounded in its datasheets. The 16 September release reports productivity gains of 10x or more without a benchmark.

Briefing

Lattice Prompt is a free download and needs the latest Radiant release. Lattice names Claude Code, Cursor and Visual Studio Code as compatible environments, and the user picks the model. The flow also covers the map step and can pull design reports and documentation.

Lattice announced the tool alongside its Mach-N2 FPGAs and showed it at FPGA Horizons, with a workshop on 7 October. By Lattice's account, the 10x figure applies to common design tasks.
