Claude Code checks a SPICE simulation against a LeCroy scope on a real circuit
Lucas Gerads connected Claude Code to his LeCroy oscilloscope through lecroy-mcp and to ngspice through spicelib-mcp. In the post's 12-minute video, Claude simulates an RC low-pass filter, programs an ATtiny1614 to drive it and compares the scope traces with the simulation. Gerads warns that Claude cannot see the bench and needs an explicit pinout.

m5-paper-buddy: an M5Paper e-ink approval screen for Claude Code
m5-paper-buddy pairs firmware for an M5Paper V1.1 e-ink board with a Python daemon that mirrors running Claude Code sessions. The screen shows each session's project, branch and context use. Pending tool calls appear full screen, and the board's buttons approve or deny them. It connects over USB serial or BLE. A README photo shows the dashboard on the board.

FreeOCD: a CMSIS-DAP flasher and RTT debugger for VS Code with an MCP server
FreeOCD flashes, verifies, recovers and soft-resets microcontrollers from VS Code through a CMSIS-DAP probe, and opens a two-way SEGGER RTT terminal. The extension registers the same actions as MCP tools for Copilot and other MCP clients. The README lists the Nordic nRF54L15 as the only built-in target; other chips need a target definition file.

eda-agent: an MCP server that drives a live Altium Designer session
eda-agent connects Claude Code or another MCP client to the design open in Altium Designer, with KiCad and EasyEDA Pro as optional backends. On Altium it exposes about 450 tools for schematic, PCB and library work, including batch edits and a 31-check lint sweep. The README marks it experimental: some tools can crash Altium's scripting engine.

Claude writes a Z80 Wordle for the TEC-1G, after some invented instructions
Hackaday covered a Ready Z80 video in which the creator guides Claude, section by section, to write Wordle in Z80 assembly for a TEC-1G. The board has a QWERTY keyboard add-on, but Claude first assumed a hex keypad and used instructions the Z80 does not have. It stopped once corrected. Hackaday says the two got a working game.
