Claude Code plans and compiles an ESPHome multi-sensor for an ESP32 DevKit

XDA's Anurag Singh used Claude Code to plan an ESPHome multi-sensor on an ESP32-WROOM-32 DevKit. It put an LD2410C mmWave sensor on UART pins and a BME280 and BH1750 on shared I2C pins, then wrote, validated and compiled the YAML. He says the device then reported to Home Assistant. The article shows screenshots, not the build.

Briefing

The LD2410C sits on GPIO16 and GPIO17, and the BME280 and BH1750 share GPIO21 and GPIO22. Claude Code explained why the radar's TX goes to the ESP32's RX and the reverse, and wrote the YAML with official ESPHome integrations, the Home Assistant API and over-the-air updates. It checked the file with esphome config and built it with esphome compile.

Singh says the device reported presence, movement, temperature and humidity, and that an automation switches the lights on below 40 lux when the room is occupied. The LD2410C needed range and sensitivity tuning. The article does not describe flashing this build.
