HARDWARIO publishes a Claude Code control plane for its TOWER firmware, CLI and HIL bench

HARDWARIO published a repository on 30 June that holds its TOWER IoT kit's protocol, STM32L083 firmware, CLI, flasher and hardware-in-the-loop bench. It began as a Claude Code control plane over submodules and is now a Rust monorepo with agent instructions. The README says bench runs flash a physical Core Module and measure power with a PPK2.

Briefing

The protocol crate frames the console with COBS and CRC-32 and encodes it with postcard. The firmware, the CLI and the bench harness all build that one crate, so the wire format cannot drift between them; before the merge this took tag pinning across five repositories, whose histories were imported. Frames carry a schema tag instead of a version, and a board or CLI built from another checkout is refused. The CLI flashes over the STM32 UART bootloader, and there is no over-the-air update path, by design.

CLAUDE.md imports AGENTS.md, the agents' manual, and the repo ships /bootstrap and /build skills. Bench runs go through just hil targets, and commit messages report verification on a Core Module with a PPK2 and a J-Link.
