Session Beacon: a USB status light for parallel Claude Code sessions

Session Beacon shows every Claude Code session on a 1.8-inch ST7735 screen and turns a row red when that session waits on a prompt. A Python daemon fed by Claude Code hooks sends updates over USB serial to an Arduino Nano ESP32 or a Waveshare RP2040-Zero. Setup is documented for Windows only. README photos show the finished beacon.

Briefing

A row goes red as soon as its session waits on a permission prompt or a question, pulses for two minutes and fades to amber after ten. The header shows total spend across live sessions, and the footer alternates between context use and the five-hour and seven-day usage figures. Claude Code hooks POST to the local daemon, which sends newline-delimited JSON to the board.

The printed case has an optional 25-degree stand. The software is MIT licensed and the enclosure CERN-OHL-P-2.0. The README does not say whether an agent helped build the beacon.
