ws-pico2go: an agent-first MicroPython workspace for the Waveshare Pico2Go robot

ws-pico2go sets up Claude Code to program the RP2350-based Waveshare Pico2Go robot in MicroPython, entirely from the terminal. Waveshare publishes no pinout, so the author recovered one from a schematic PDF and keeps it in CLAUDE.md with safety rules and measured sensor behavior. The README says an obstacle avoider runs untethered. We have not seen video.

Briefing

All device work goes through one ./pg command. The robot has two N20 motors on a TB6612FNG driver, five line sensors read through a TLC2543 ADC over PIO, IR obstacle sensors, an ultrasonic ranger, a 1.14-inch ST7789 LCD and four WS2812B LEDs, all on an RP2350-Plus board.

The README records measurements: the LCD takes 77.8 ms per frame, the battery divider is confirmed as x2, and a 4.7K pull-up claimed for GP5 was refuted. Besides the obstacle avoider, a sensor dashboard streams JSON Lines at about 9 to 11 frames per second. The workspace is MIT licensed.
