Palmimo DevKit: SDK and MCP server for a six-legged tabletop robot

Jizai's Palmimo DevKit exposes Palmimo, a six-legged tabletop robot with 21 serial-bus servos, to Claude Code and other MCP clients. A Python SDK maps LLM tool calls to walking, waving, looking, face changes and speech. Every motion can run as a compute-only dry run first. README GIFs show the physical robot bowing and waving.

Briefing

Of the 21 servos, 18 drive the legs and 3 the neck, and the robot walks on a tripod gait. A Raspberry Pi 5 is the host, with a round face display, a 5 MP camera, a microphone array and stereo speakers. Besides the SDK and MCP server, the DevKit holds agent examples, LeRobot plugins and an OpenClaw kit. A capture-frame tool returns camera images, and the model is swappable.

Jizai makes Palmimo and sells the DevKit through palmimo.dev, so the README is the vendor's own. The project is marked pre-release. The software is Apache-2.0, and the hardware files are not published.
